Bill Syniar Music
Songwriter Bill Syniar recently has embarked on a niche writing project specifically geared to the spa, hotel & resort industry, as well as stores & other retail businesses. Bill writes original, "branded" mood music, often paired with poetry, to create a unique music product that reflects the tone of individual businesses. Each CD package is custom designed with a title and artwork that reflects the business brand. The resulting product can be used as relaxing background music, on a phone system or displayed in a guest room for enjoyment during their stay. In addition, these CDs make unique client gifts or can be offered for retail purchase in a gift shop, reinforcing the company's brand experience with every replaying.
Bill has co-written music for such internationally renowned groups as The Doobie Bros., jazz drummer Paul Wertico & others, and has worked extensively with Chicago songwriter Jim Peterik on a variety of projects. As a bass player Bill has long been a familiar figure on the Chicago music scene, co-founding the recording group Tantrum in 1980 and writing many of the songs on the group's three LP's. He has toured extensively as bass player for Scotti Bros. recording artists Survivor, best known for their hit single "Eye of the Tiger" from the "Rocky II" movie. He appears on Survivor's "Too Hot to Sleep" and "Greatest Hits" LPs as well as their single and video "Didn't Know It Was Love". Bill continues to write music for a variety of music projects and plays bass on numerous commercial recording sessions. He is also band leader for the group R-Gang.
