Seems like the holiday season now kicks off with Halloween and moves right into Thanksgiving, Hannukah, Christmas & New Year's all wrapped together. For ArtsWarrior, its all great reason to PARTY, and we've got the music covered for any occasion!
1969 had a very Hippie Halloween at The Cellar in Forest Park. The venue is small, but oh so retro cool, hearkening back to the "underground" clubs of the 60s. Watch for 1969's return to The Cellar, as well as other upcoming ArtsWarrior band appearances there.

Guitarra Azul has great news! Their new CD, "Oasis" has qualified for a possible Grammy in the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. They came in #37 on the ballot out of 89 entries in the "new Age" category. Preliminary Voting Round takes place in early December. Be sure to catch their exciting show soon at a club near you!

Soul Cookin' recently appeared as pregame entertainment for the Chicago Bulls, and R-Gang will also join the Bulls on New Year's Eve. Changing the World Together
ArtsWarrior teamed up with 3rd Power Productions to take part in a recent fundraiser to benefit Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center, a unit of Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital. The city of St. Charles sponsored a tour event of Robert Lord Builders' "Ultimate Green Home", a $5 million house currently on sale. ArtsWarrior artist, Jordi Pedrola, "painted the scene", offering the finished paintings as an auction prize. 3rd Power executive chef, Tim Kuck, provided appetizers to accompany a tasting of organic wines. Chicago Bears defensive lineman Dan Hampton made a guest appearance to sign autographs.
The event, titled "Changing the World Together," took place on Nov. 8. It was also the kickoff to "the Ultimate Green Expo" from Robert Lord and his builders. The event was expected to raise over $50,000 to benefit the new Children's Hospital. For more info on the house, visit:
